Study population (selection stages)
The study population in this study will be people 50 years and older to allow the transition from middle age to old age and subsequent changes in health and wellness to be better identified and evaluated. In order to achieve a correct sample that can be identified through health centers, a census is taken, then sampling is done in two stages, first by the method of classifying the share of each specific health center and then by simple random method, each person in the sample is selected His wife will also be invited to participate in the study (Table 1).

Includes and Exclude
Includes and Exclude in different regions, including being in the desired age range (50 years and older), living in the region, being Iranian (born in Iran with different nationality of parents, such as Afghan father, Iranian mother and the like can be registered), Favorable conditions for communication psychologically and cognitively in the registration phase, but if these problems arise for the person during the follow-up period, this person will be followed up with the participation of a member of his family.
Conscious consent is required to participate in the study as well as link to file information from various health sources such as hospitals, cancer registration centers and the like, as well as future genetic-molecular studies using biobank reserves.
Residents of permanent care centers will not be included in the study during the registration phase, but there is no case if they are admitted to these centers during the follow-up period.
If people move from the area during the follow-up period, if they live in any of the areas where one of the studies on aging or Persian cohort is underway and are interested in continuing to participate, they can stay in the study, otherwise it is one of the cases. They are eliminated.
